With the advances in self calibration, once a job has been configured for our Indigo digital press, it will be produced more consistently than if produced conventionally on a litho press. It is important to point this out, as a common misconception about digital printing revolved around the lack of accuracy in colour matching. With the latest Indigo 5500 press with 7 colours always online and highly skilled staff, customers are amazed at the high definition print. Customers can request segmented journals, short runs on catalogues or product guides via an online website which will reduce waste and be more cost-effective against their budgets.

Digital Printing - Economics
As there are fewer pre-press charges, the economic hurdle of plate making is negated. There is no need for the conventional lithographic offset minimum run, which we generally calculate to be at an average of 1000 copies, but will vary significantly depending on the item to be printed. This means that fewer copies need to be printed with less waste and inventory costs. Companies can consider updating publications on a more frequent basis, no more white paper or sticker solutions when small changes need to be made.
